Many companies will pay your truck driving school tuition, in part or in full depending on your situation. They may ask you to sign a contract for a year or two. They will usually also have terms of the contract. If you don’t fulfill them they may ask you to pay your truck driving school tuition back at that time. Through other tuition reimbursement programs, a trucking company will pay you directly over time until your tuition has been paid up. They do this to encourage your initiative in obtaining your CDL license and don’t require you to work for them once you’re licensed. Truck driving schools also take cash, checks, and credit cards for tuition and allow you to finance it over time. We recommend tuition reimbursement or a CDL grant as your first choices if you can’t pay the whole bill up front.
